Hirose MS156 Product Release

In today’s wireless world testing of RF devices requires a different approach.

The MS156 coaxial switch & test contact provides a simple and reliable method of inspection for High frequency Circuits.

With the contact mounted on the board performance can be tested by inserting one of the external plugs, this switches the circuit to the test  probe allowing accurate testing of the equipment. The MS156 has a low insertion loss of 0.1dB at 6GHz making it almost transparent. Removal of the test probe will then automatically switch to the internal circuit.

The contact is small, only 2.7by2.7mm and 1.6m high, weighing only 0.025g it can fit neatly into any design operating up to 6GHz. The contact can be supplied with a dust cover that doubles as a vacuum pick up area as well as meeting the latest lead free requirements.

A wide variety of SMA test adaptors are available for hand testing in the laboratory or fully automatic testing on a production Line.
